UN and Government Forces Secure DRC Town against Rebel Attacks
Peacekeepers of the UN mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), MONUSCO, work with Government troops to secure Bunagana, a town in the country’s North Kivu province, against attacks from the M23 rebel group. Much of the Kivu provinces have recently seen intense fighting by M23 and other militias.
