UN Evacuates Wounded, Assesses Damage, after Bombings in South Sudan
Some of the damage done to the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS)’s County Support Base after a series of air strikes this weekend in Mayom, Unity State.
Personnel from the Mission arrived in Mayom to evacuate wounded civilians and assess the situation at the Base, where two bombs damaged buildings and equipment but resulted in no human casualties.
