UN Evacuates Wounded, Assesses Damage, after Bombings in South Sudan
Personnel from the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) arrive in Mayom, Unity State, to evacuate wounded civilians, as well as to assess damage to the Mission’s County Support Base, after a series of air strikes this weekend. The two bombs that hit the Base damaged buildings and equipment, but resulted in no human casualties.
