UN Peacekeepers Deliver Water to North Darfur Community
Peacekeepers of the African Union-UN Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID) install a plastic water tank in Forog, 45 kilometres north of Kutum, North Darfur.
The Kutum-based troops transported around 30,000 litres of water to the area, which is controlled by the Abdul Wahid faction of the rebel Sudan Liberation Army (SLA) and according to local community leaders, suffers from a serious lack of water.
