Rights Council Passes Resolution on Sri Lanka Investigation
The President of the Human Rights Council, Laura Dupuy Lasserre, opens a session of the Council on Sri Lanka, at which Members adopted a resolution urging the country to investigate potential human rights abuses committed during its 26-year-long civil war – by a vote of 24 in favour, 15 against and 8 abstentions.
