Rights Council Deplores Syrian Government Brutality in New Resolution
Vladimir Zheglov, Representative of the Russian Federation, addresses the Human Rights Council’s urgent debate on Syria. During the debate the Council adopted a resolution condemning the ongoing violence and human rights abuses in the country – by 37 votes in favour, three abstentions and three votes against, from China, Cuba, and the Russian Federation.
