Humanitarian Affairs Chief Visits DPRK to Assess Food Shortages
Jérome Sauvage, UN Resident Coordinator in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), holds up a product of a biscuit factory run by the World Food Programme (WFP). The factory was one of the stops for Valerie Amos, Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, during her five-day visit in the DPRK to assess the country’s food aid needs.
