Thai Peacekeepers Bring Medical Assistance to West Darfur Village
Thai officers from the African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID) treat sick children in Buru, West Darfur, which is located 30 kilometres away from the nearest clinic and has suffered lack of health care. Because of Buru’s difficult access, this is the first time many of the villagers see blue helmets.
