U.S. Senator John Kerry Visits UNAMID Team Site in Darfur
John Kerry (centre), U.S. Senator from Massachusetts and Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, visits a team site of the African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID) in Shangil Tobaya, in the Sudanese state of North Darfur. More than 4,000 additional people have settled in the area since December, fleeing fighting between government and rebel forces.
