WFP and Timor Education Ministry Provide Meals to Schoolchildren
With the support of the UN World Food Programme (WFP), Timor-Leste's Ministry of Education has launched a nationwide initiative to provide schoolchildren from Pre-school to Grade 9 with mid-morning meals. The meals are intended to encourage enrolment and attendance, and increase students' learning capacity.
