Permanent Representative of Japan Briefs on Afghanistan Situation
Yukio Takasu, Permanent Representative of Japan to the United Nations, speaking to journalists, welcomed U.S. President Barack Obama's announcement yesterday that he will send additional American troops to Afghanistan. Mr. Takasu added that "we should all work for the stability of Afghanistan".
