Secretary-General Addresses Event for Elimination of Violence against Women Day
Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon addresses an event for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. As part of the day's commemorations, Mr. Ban launched the Network of Men Leaders, an all-male coalition -- including Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, Nobel Peace Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and Brazilian novelist and UN Messenger of Peace Paulo Coelho, among many others -- who will promote his ongoing campaign "UNiTE to End Violence against Women".
