Hu Jintao, President of the People's Republic of China, addresses the opening plenary session of the Summit on Climate Change. Convened by Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, the Summit aims at mobilizing the highest level political will needed to reach a fair, effective, and scientifically ambitious global climate deal at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen this December.
