Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon views polar ice and surroundings of the Svalbard archipelago aboard the vessel, "KV Svalbard". The Secretary-General is visiting Svalbard, Norway, to see the impacts of climate change firsthand, and appeal to the world to take urgent measures to combat climate change in order to protect the planet for future generations.
