Coffee Handlers at Cooperative Café Timor Sifting Coffee Beans
Coffee is the main income provider for farmers in the highlands and the main export for Timor-Leste. Every year exports of organic certified coffee bring USD8 million in revenue. With 21,500 members, Cooperative Café Timor is the nation's largest employer during the coffee season, helping realize the Government's priority of promoting rural development.
