Dinka Cattle Camp Moves to Abyei Region
The Dinka Twic cattle camp with about 5000 head of cattle moves north from Warrap State into the Abyei area as floods hit their grazing area. The ongoing tension between the Dinka and the Misseriya ethnic groups in the oil-rich Abyei region is an object of continuous attention of United Nations Mission in Sudan (UNMIS).
