Troop Disengagement Proceeds in Suez Sector
A member of the Finnish Battalion with the United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF) raises the UN flag shortly after Israeli soldiers had lowered their flag at their position on Gebel Ataqa, as they handed over the area to UNEF, in the first phase of the disengagement and redeployment of Egyptian and Israeli forces in the southern sector on the West Bank of the Suez Canal.
