Staff Union Holds Ceremony to Boost Efforts to Help Detained and Missing Colleagues
The Staff Union and the Secretary-General this afternoon held a brief ceremony to launch a new phase in the efforts to win the Freedom of United Nations staff members who are missing, restricted or detained in various parts of the world. The focus of the event was on Alec Collett, who was abducted in Lebanon on 25 March 1985.
