Thirty-three medical teams provided by Red Cross and Red Crescent societies as well as by governments are at work in the Congo under the United Nations Civilian Operation. The teams - ten of them sent by governments - are from 22 countries and are staffed by a total of 157 doctors, nurses and technicians.
