Ethiopian Troops in the Republic of the Congo (Leopoldville)
Military units from more than fifteen countries are serving in United Nations operations in the Republic of the Congo. Many of the contingents have come from African UN member countries. The Ethiopian "Tekel" Brigade, stationed in Stanleyville, is maintaining public order there and guarding essential facilities.
