Ethiopian Nurse Serves with UN Medical Team in the Republic of the Congo (Leopoldville)
Medical personnel from many countries are taking part in United Nations operations in the Congo. Sister Aster Ayana, an Ethiopian Red Cross nurse is working in the military hospital of the Ethiopian "Tekel" Brigade, at Stanleyville. The medical team of which Nurse Ayana is a part provides medical care for UN personnel and for Congolese nationals.
