Italy to Send Hospital Unit to Korea
At United Nations Headquarters Ambassador Gastone Guidotti (right), Italian Observer to UN, just handed to Secretary-General Trygve Lie a communication informing him that an Italian Hospital Unit would be ready to sail for Korea on approximately 10 October. The size of the unit will be of a hundred beds; it will include doctors, voluntary nurses and assistants as well as medical equipment.
