The radio programs of the UN Radio and Visual Services Division are produced daily in as many as 25 languages and rebroadcast over national networks and independent stations in some 100 countries and territories. The Division also produces television programs, which at present are shown by T.V. stations in 16 countries, and motion picture films, of various lengths, on the aims and activities of the United Nations.
In the radio master control room which is the nerve centre of all sound control at UN Headquarters, engineer Felix Galvez is "patching" a radio program in Chinese originating from a UN studio into a transcontinental line, New York to San Francisco.
