$6,200,000 for UN Aid to Palestine Refugees
Mr. John C. Ross (left), U.S. Representative to the Security Council, presents to Secretary-General Trygve Lie a check of $6,200,000 for the relief of Palestine refugees. The check represents part of the contribution of the U.S. Government in response to a General Assembly resolution of last December which established the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East.
