UNICEF Calls Upon Armed Groups to Cease Recruitment of Children in the DRC

The offices of UNICEF in Goma were informed that five children have been recruited in Kishangi by armed groups. Eighty-five percent of the schools in Rutshuru remain closed and even if some are open, parents are still afraid to send their children to school because they are targeted places for forced recruitment.
