According to the UN food agency-WFP, its October appeal for US$140 million to feed more than 5 million people in Zimbabwe has received commitments of only $15 million.
Spokesperson Emilia Casella says that's not nearly enough.
"Therefore we are continuing ration cuts to people in Zimbabwe and expect that that's a very strong possibility continuing on in January and as you can imagine, nutrition is important for anybody who's ill not just with cholera but people who are suffering who have HIV and other illnesses."
Casella says WFP is already aiming to feed 4 million Zimbabweans this month and more than 5 million by January which is 45 % of the population.
