Angelina Jolie visits Haitian earthquake victims
Actress Angelina Jolie, a goodwill Ambassador for the UN refugee agency, UNHCR, has visited victims of the Haiti earthquake.

Ms. Jolie visited a hospital in the Dominican Republic housing the earthquake victims.
UNHCR Spokesman Andrej Mahecic explains that the agency, in accordance with its policy, did not publicize Angelina Jolie's visit.
"It's a visit of the humanitarian nature. It's a visit which is supposed to keep the limelight of the international attention on the victims of the earthquake in Haiti and also the Goodwill Ambassador is also a donor to Haiti."
Andrej Mahecic said in some cases the agency also refrains from publicizing the missions of its Goodwill Ambassadors for security reasons.
