Secretary-General condemns deadly bomb attack in Pakistan

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has strongly condemned a deadly bomb attack in Pakistan on Friday.
At least 49 people died in the blast, which took place at a market in Peshawar, capital of the North West Frontier Province. The victims included children and women, and many more people were injured.
In a statement, the Secretary-General said he condemns the attack "in the strongest possible terms."
Mr. Ban stated that "no cause can justify such indiscriminate violence."
The Secretary-General extended his condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government of Pakistan.
