Joseph Dube, a South African member of the International Network on Small Arms, is following these discussions closely and feels that delegates are getting tired of discussing one and the same thing.

- A young man at a school in Juba in Southern Sudan is struggling to pay school fees. He lost his father during Sudan's civil war. The government of Southern Sudan has promised to support top students, but this student is worried that this might be his last year of school.

Paul Maina Gathara, a participant in the model United Nations General Assembly is involved in organizing young people and promoting community development in Kenya.
