- A young man at a school in Juba in Southern Sudan is struggling to pay school fees. He lost his father during Sudan's civil war. The government of Southern Sudan has promised to support top students, but this student is worried that this might be his last year of school.

- Young people play an important role in the development of a country. But young people can also be very destructive if they do not have proper direction. Paul Maina Gathara, a participant in the model United Nations General Assembly is involved in organizing young people and promoting community development in Kenya.
