Haiti is getting more than US$120 million from the World Bank in development assistance
The World Bank has endorsed a new Country Assistance Strategy for Haiti, which includes about US$120 million in development assistance over four years from the International Development Association -IDA - the arm of the World Bank that helps the world's poorest countries.
Annual DPI/NGO Conference
The annual NGO/DPI Conference is scheduled for Mexico this September. The conference which takes place each year just before the General Assembly starts is the flagship meeting for the non-governmental organizations in association with the Department of Public Information.
