- Ambassador Joseph Nsengimana of Rwanda says it is important that the people of Rwanda don't forget the 1994 genocide so that it does not happen again. He says while the government is promoting reconciliation among the Rwandan people, it recognizes that it is not easy to change people in one decade so that they learn to live together.

- In Rwanda, survivors live with the scars of the genocide. UN Radio's Diane Bailey travelled to the Central African country where she met two widows, and visited a centre which is providing solidarity and emotional support to survivors of the genocide. One of the women was abandoned by her two brothers once they found out that she was infected with HIV/AIDS.
