UN warehouse of food and medicines bombed by Israeli military

A UN warehouse full of food and medical supplies was hit by artillery fire from the Israeli Defense Force in Gaza. John Ging, the Director of Operations for the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) says three were injured in the incident and it took six hours to get the blaze under control. The director says the fire was caused by a white phosphorus bomb. Meanwhile, John Holmes, the Under Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs reports that the death toll continues to rise with one out every 250 Gazans now dead or seriously injured.
