UN refugee agency forces on irregular migration by sea

Interior Ministers are scheduled to meet next week to discuss the problem of irregular migration by sea. Ron Redmond, Spokesperson for the UN's refugee agency says with few opportunities to enter the European Union by regular means, thousands threatened with research in their home countries have no choice but to take dangerous sea routes. Highlighting the need to ensure that those fleeing human rights abuse are not blocked by measures to tighten borders.
