That according to the UN agency assisting Palestinian refugees-UNRWA.

UNRWA Spokeswoman in Geneva Elena Mancusi Materi says the agency wants the continuing loss of civilian life to end.

"We hope that the view will prevail that there can be no military solution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and the violence can only bear further violence and profound distress."

UNRWA says medical and psycho-social teams are active in emergency shelters to assist the traumatized populations.
