US Secretary of State urges Israel to maintain a humanitarian corridor in Gaza

Expressing appreciation for Israel's temporary opening of a humanitarian corridor in Gaza, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice urged the Israel's to continue to allow access to the war-torn region. Many Gazans are dependent upon the UN and other humanitarian agencies for food and medical assistance.
