Killer Hurricanes Took Almost 500 Lives in Haiti - UN Humanitarian Office

Hurricanes Gustaf and then Ike took almost 500 lives in the region around the northern Haitian city of Gonaives, that from the UN's Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. Spokesperson Elizabeth Byrs says the UN is on the ground distributing food, water, hygiene kits and other vital supplies.
