Russia Recognition of South Ossetia and Abkhazia Condemned by the US as Attempt to Redraw Neighbor's Borders

The United States has condemned Russia's recognition of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Deputy US UN Ambassador Alejandro Wolf says the move as an attempt by Russia to redraw the borders of its neighbors. Meanwhile, Russia's UN Ambassador Vitaly Churkin says Georgia's President Mikheil Saakashvili is the one who closed the door on the question of Georgia's territorial integrity.
