Russia Orders End to Fighting but Won't Immediately Pull out of Georgia

While Russia's President Dmitry Medvedev has ordered an end to Russian military action in Georgia, Russia's UN Ambassador says his country has no plans to immediately pull troops out of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Vitaly Churkin says if Moscow's soldiers leave, the lives of thousands could be at stake. While ordering a stop to the fighting, President Medvedev did order Russia's troops to respond if attacked.
