UN Security Council Renews Mandate of UN Mission in Iraq; Pleasing US UN Ambassador

Zalmay Khalilzad, the US permanent Representative to the United Nations welcomed the UN Security Council's renewal of the mandate of UNAMI (the UN Assistance Mission in Iraq). The Ambassador also applauded the UN's efforts to help Iraq with national reconciliation.
