Iraq Prepared to Provide Security for UN Staff - Iraq's UN Ambassador

The UN Security Council has renewed the mandate of the UN Assistance Mission in Iraq for another year and Iraq's Permanent Representative to the UN says his country is ready to provide security for UN staff there. Recalling the bombing of UN headquarters in Baghdad almost five years ago, the Ambassador says Iraq security forces will work with the Multinational forces in the country to help provide security for UN staffers.
