Kosovo and Serbia Want to Talk but Not Accept Each Other's Point of View

The Foreign Ministers from both Serbia and Kosovo addressed the Security Council as it heard a report on the planned reconfiguration of the UN force in Kosovo in order to let European Union peacekeepers move in. Both sides say they are willing to try to work out their difference, but Kosovo will only do so as an independent state and Serbia will only do so if Kosovo remains part of Serbia.

Jerry Piasecki reports.

Full testimony by the Foreign Ministers available below.
