UNFPA Chief Pleased that Gender Issues will be Funded Through UN's Consolidated Appeal

Among the projects the will be funded through the UN's Consolidated Appeal are projects that relate to gender issues. This is welcomed by Thoraya Obaid, Executive Director of the UN Population Fund. The appeal seeks $6.5 billion to fund global humanitarian projects.
