Security Council 'Not Happy' with Progress Building Up UNAMID says UK Ambassador

The Security Council was briefed today (Wednesday) by Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations Jean Marie Guéhenno on the work of the UN-African Union Mission in Darfur, known as UNAMID. The Secretary General has set a target of 80% of the force deployed by the end of this year, so far only 40% has been deployed according to UK Ambassador to the UN John Sawers who says a lot of work is needed to buildup UNAMID. Julie Walker reports.
