UN Continues Re-Assignment of Non-Essential Staff in Darfur

Following the request by the Special Prosecutor for the International Criminal Court to have the court issue an arrest warrant for Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir for genocide and war crimes, the UN is re-assigning its non-essential staff in Darfur. This is the second day that staff have been flown to neighboring regions including Entebbe, Uganda.
