UN and Africa - a weekly 15-minute radio programme on political, social, economic and other developments related to Africa.

- In this special edition for the end of the year holiday we revisit the celebration of Africa Liberation Day which is observed on 25 May. The celebration at UN Headquarters in New York was organized by the spouses of African Ambassadors to the United Nations. New York-based singer- actor, Juanita Fleming played the role of story-teller in the event, entitled "The Future is Ours", featuring students from The Choir Academy of Harlem and various African musicians and dancers who live in New York.
