Slow pace of efforts to combat climate change effects
08/04/2008
Political leaders and environmentalists from more than 180 countries met in Bali, Indonesia in December where they hammered out a deal to launch negotiations towards a crucial international climate change pact to fight global warming. But even as they gathered in Bali, there were strong warnings of the urgency of the situation.
This programme looks at the concern expressed by heads of State and government, youth and other stakeholders over the slow pace of efforts to combat the effects of climate change.
