Red Cross aiding China's earthquake relief effort

Following the devastating earthquake in southwestern China, the UN has offered assistance to the government in its relief efforts. China has mounted an impressive rescue and response to survivors. Francis Markus is in China and has seen the humanitarian efforts underway. He described for UN Radio's Samir Aldarabi the latest, including the government's estimate that so far some 19,000 people had died, and even more are missing.
