Refugee numbers on the rise for a second straight year

The number of refugees worldwide has risen for the second consecutive year. This is cause for grave concern, says the UN refugee agency (UNHCR). In its annual 'Global Trends' report released today, UNHCR says there were more than 11 million refugees in 2007, while another 26 million people were displaced within their own countries due to conflict or persecution. Alpha Diallo sat down with UNHCR's William Spindler in Geneva.
