Security situation deteriorates in Afghanistan

Any hopes that the security situation was beginning to improve in Afghanistan were again dashed on Monday when a bomb exploded near the Indian embassy in Kabul killing and injuring a number of people.

The United Nations has strongly condemned the attack, described as the deadliest in the capital since the overthrow of the Taliban in 2001. UN Radio's Gerry Adams reports.
