UN welcomes arrest of former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic

Former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic, who spent more than a decade evading capture, is now in the hands of the Serbian authorities.
Karadzic will be transferred to the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia to face charges for war crimes committed during the Balkan conflicts of the 1990s.The arrest is a "huge milestone" for international justice, says tribunal spokesperson Nerma Jalacic.
